Procede Review
This product has now been around for a few years since we first reviewed it, just after it burst on to the infomercial scene. is a new cosmetic product for hair loss. The makers are advertising it regularly on television, so I decided to do a little research on it. The treatment is only used once every 90 days, and claims to make hair thicker and fuller. The makers are not very specific about how exactly it works, other than than it thickens the appearance and diameter of hair.
Poor Before/After Pictures
To be honest, I wasn't very impressed with Procede's before and after pictures. They were taken from multiple angles, different backgrounds, and one had wet hair in the before, dry hair in the after picture. The hairstyles used are even different. In my opinion, before/after pictures demonstrating hair loss products should always be taken in the exact same setting.
The product does offer a money back guarantee, but read the fine print on this one. If you use it for 3 applications as directed and do not see results, you get your money back. The problem is, the directions say to wait 90 days between applications of Procede. So before getting a refund, you'd need to use the product for 270 days, or 9 months.
Personally I'm a bit skeptical of Procede as a hair loss treatment, but everyone has to make their own decision. If you have experience with this hair loss product, please share it in our discussion forums or email us. Note - Lots of people are searching the web for this product and misspelling it Proceed. It's Procede, a hair loss product not proceed the verb.
Procede Testimonials (Good and Bad)

"I am 42 and have tried Procede. I have moderate hair loss/receding hair line and thinning. I tried Procede two month ago and have not seen any positive results other than shinier scalp where hair use to be. I do however intend to continue the 120 day cycle and will continue to post." posted by Mrkwik
"I have just started using PROCEDE a cuople of days ago and it seems to actually be working. I think the way the product works best is dependant upon what stage you are at in the hair loss cycle the earlier the better since it is a cosmetic product and not an actual hair regrowth system. I started to go bald in my late teens and this is the first product I've tried and so far so good I can see and feel a noticeable difference. while it is pricey so far it actually is worth and you get a guaruntee how many produts offer that?" posted by Erock
"I'll tell you about my experience with procede. I've only used it once. When I applied the bottle marked 1, it was like this thick, gooey lotion that I massaged into my scalp. As soon as I put it on, it reeked like Nair, you know, hair remover. I read the bottle and it said "gives the appearance of thicker hair", which was a far cry from the commercial, that claims to grow back lost hair.
I was told to leave it on for an hour, which I did, then rinsed it off, and applied bottle 2, which smelled different, left it on for a half hour, and rinsed it off.
What little hair on my head felt extremely rough, coarse, matted down, and then when a hornet landed on my head, as I brushed it off, a bunch of hair bits went flying off, and the top of my head looks like I was irradiated, and my scalp is sore.
Procede, in my opinion does not grow hair at all, but gives the appearance of thicker hair, by matting thin hair down on your scalp, covering it.
May the developer of Procede dwell in eternal darkness." posted by Piastun on our forums
