Provillus Review

Provillus is a new oral treatment for hair loss. It contains a mix of vitamins, nutrients and natural ingredients. In general, I am skeptical of pills that claim to cause dramatic hair regrowth. I am still somewhat skeptical of this one, but it presents a more reasonable and well designed product than many hair loss treatments I have reviewed.

How's it work?

The ingredient that I first recognized as being associated with preventing hair loss is Saw Palmetto. This is one of the few natural ingredients that has some scientific backing. Some people claim that it functions in a way that is similar to Propecia, altering the way hormones affect your hair follicles. However, as with most natural products, there isn't much research done because you cannot trademark a plant, herb, or vitamin. It contains a number of other vitamins, such as B6, minerals like magnesium, and other natural ingredients.

Before/After Pictures?

Once again, the before/after pictures are somewhat disappointing. On their main website, I could only find 1 before/after picture, which is a somewhat small image on their home page. If you click on it, instead of enlarging the image, it takes you directly to the order page. Overall, this seems like a somewhat promising product. However, the sales pitch of their main website turned me off. I like to see big, clear before and after pictures.
